Restoration of daily life

Necessary equipment was given to 14 masons and 2 carpenters in Pelena area. From 24th February onwards they were able to pick up their normal occupation and to ensure a personal and proper income. 3 Bicycle repair workshops and 1 TV atelier also opened on the same day. They all were provided with sufficient tools and installations to guarantee the continuity of small family businesses.

These projects take part in our vision to restore and develop the communities along the South Coast of Sri Lanka. By giving essential items to the villagers we make sure they can take care of their own livelihood in the future. Similar initiatives have taken place throughout the last weeks and months.

All the received funds will be carefully allocated for assistance appropriate to one of our projects.
