The brothers Lewuillon rowing for the tsunami victims

In the framework of a vast fundraising operation of aid for the victims of the tsunami and in particular for the fishery communities, launched by the Mayor of Ixelles Mr Willy Decourty, two Belgian citizens, the brothers Alain and Bruno Lewuillon, are undertaking the crossing of the Gulf of Bengal by rowing from Phuket (Thailand) to Sri Lanka (see for more details: www.solidar-xl.be). Depending on the meteorologique conditions, which are not favorable at the moment, their arrival in Sri Lanka is expected around 10th April. In 2001 they already accomplished the crossing of the Atlantic Ocean.
