Support for the Srilankan health sector

With her visit to Sri Lanka from 3rd up to 9th March, the Minister of Health of the Walloon Region in Belgium, Mrs. Christiane Vienne expresses her willingness to sustain the Srilankan health sector, being affected by the tsunami disaster. Collaboration with a Srilankan hospital, an education program for nurses and a health telephone were some of the ideas which need to be explored the coming months. Dr. Harsha De Silva, Director of the Privat Health Sector Development and Mr. Pierre Pringiers the Honorary Consul guided the Minister through the island.
