Quality houses for a new quality life

On 3rd March 2005 the first spade stab was inaugurated, which marked the start for the construction of the new 2-storey houses. Since then our team kept on building without interruption. Being one of the first organizations that took up the construction of permanent houses, our result can be shown to the world!

Presently more than 35 houses are under construction on the same land as the damaged house. All the houses selected for reconstruction are situated within 300m from the shore, but outside the buffer of 100m, which has been imposed mainly for security reasons.

By choosing the concept, building materials and design our decisions were made in order to achieve in the shortest time possible a durable quality solution. These victims are our VIP's who only deserve the best to protect them from future disasters.

Because all the people living in this stretch experienced this terrible disaster we decided to construct 2-storey houses to give them a more secure feeling. Many of them are not able to move away from the sea as they depend on for their livelihood.

Today 2 houses are nearing completion and will be handed over to the owner most probably next month. A new start for so many!
